There are A LOT of beauty products out there. A whole lot. It can get pretty overwhelming to try to sift through all the many, many products out there and find the really good stuff. I have tried a TON of products, lots of good, lots of okay, a few bad, and some especially good ones! Here are some of my tippy-top FAVORITE beauty products.
I have been a long time Purity by Philosophy user, but a few months ago when it was time to buy a new bottle, I wasn’t really sure why I was buying it over and over again. Purity was fine, but it just wasn’t anything special. When I heard one of my favorite YouTubers mention Milky Jelly Cleanser by Glossier I figured for I’d give it a try. The very first time I used it I fell in love. I rinsed my face after the first wash, and it felt SO SOFT and moisturized. It doesn’t irritate my skin, it doesn’t break me out. It is SO good! I will continue to by Milky Jelly Cleanser over and over again.
L’Oreal has a line of sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners that are about $7 a bottle and can be bought at any drugstore. They are so good! I have tried plenty of expensive, high end shampoos and conditioners and I always go back to these. I am a huge fan of the price and I have tried most of the line and LOVE them! I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for excellent, affordable hair products.
Elf has some pretty decent makeup brushes, but this blush brush is my favorite and only $3! I use it every day to set my under-eye concealer with powder, but it also works great for applying your highlight. For only $3 this is a brush everyone should have in their collection.
I have a hard time dropping $20+ for a blush. I am happy to drop some cash on great products, but for some reason, blush is hard for me! That is why I love the Morphe blush palette. It has a great range of wearable and bold blush colors, great pigmentation (like really great, a little goes a LONG way), and the price is right at $19.99 from Morphebrushes.com.
I have used so many bottles of this facial spray. I use it every time after I wash my face. It cools and soothes my face, especially after exfoliating that can irritate. You could even use it as spray after applying makeup to help it all your powders sit more perfectly on your skin. I can’t say enough good things about this spray. This stuff is only $7 a bottle and totally worth adding to your skincare routine.
Makeup Geek Single Shadows
So often I catch myself buying ENTIRE palettes for one single eye shadow shade I can’t live without. But you can buy single shadows from Makeup Geek for $6 or $10 for their foiled shadows and the quality is fantastic!
And because you’ll need a place to put your single shadows, I love Z Palettes! With a magnetic Z palette you can stick in all your singles shadows and make your own custom, perfect palette.
You can get this bubble bath for about $5 for a huge bottle from Target, and probably other drugstores. It smells great, without being overly scented, it gets super foamy, and it left my skin feeling much softer than a regular bath would have. Sometimes when I have more expensive bath products I sort of hate using them all up too quickly, but this is a product I love and I can use all I want without feeling guilty because its cheap!
