3 Ways to No Heat Waves

Since I do have dry, color treated hair and am trying to grow it out, I am always looking for little ways here and there to improve the health of my hair. Click here to read my 5 tips for growing out your hair. One of the ways that I am still experimenting and finding success with is no-heat waves. There are lots of methods out there, but I will share my three favorite with you!

1. Sock Bun Curls

Follow the source above for a great tutorial. I would be lying if I said I have this method perfected. For me, it’s been a little harder than you might think. So here are my two tips, if you can make a bun without actually putting your hair in a pony tail, do it. Half my battle is dealing with the giant kink a pony tail leaves behind. Second, mind your ends! If you are making a sock bun just for the sake of a sock bun you don’t need to worry too much about where your ends are. But if you are counting on your hair looking ready to wear in the morning you gotta watch where the ends are going so it they come out pretty rather thank crazy.

2. Headband Waves

This is another good method for no heat that I like to experiment with. I like that these headband curls give you a little more control. The tighter you wrap it, the tighter the curls will be.

3, Beachy Voluminous Waves

This is a little more time consuming way to get no heat waves but the results are really pretty and best of all, you have plenty of control over how the curls will turn out . No mystery ends tucked away in a bun somewhere.
