Buy This, Not That : L’Oreal Evercreme

I have been a fan of the L’Oreal Evercreme line for a few years now. But in case you haven’t heard of it or haven’t tried it out, they are affordable, drugstore, sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners. At only $8 a bottle, they are a pretty fantastic value.

So when I saw the 6 in 1 Cleansing Balm, I was eager to try it. My hair is thick, color-treated, dry and more on the coarse side. I can usually go about 3 days between washes before it starts to look greasy. I figured with my hair type, I’d probably be a pretty ideal candidate for a cleansing balm. But I have to say, I just couldnt make it work for me.

The first time I used it, the ends of my hair felt nice and soft but the roots are still felt greasy. I figured I would just need to rinse more thuroughly next time. Spent more time rinsing, no luck and I couldn’t go as long between washes. I read that sometimes you need to be using MORE product will get your hair cleaner. Tried that and still now luck.

I tried. And tried. And tried. And tried some more and I just couldnt make it work for me.

So, skip the cleansing balm and go for the good stuff and try the L’Oreal Evercreme shampoo and conditioner. I have tried them all and my favorite is the Deep Nourishing shampoo and conditioner.

Leave your favorite shampoos and conditioners in the comments below so I know what to try next!
