5 Simple Ways to Rock a Braid

Is it just me, or is Pinterest full of gorgeous hairstyles that you need at least 5 hands and hair down to your butt to actually do? I love scrolling through and seeing all the pretty styles, but come on, I can’t actually do them!
I’ve weeded through all the glamor shots and have found 5 cute and simple ways to wear braids.

1. Upside down braid with a sock bun

I debated if I should actually post a french braid on here or not because not everyone knows how to do it. But since I am currently having a love affair with sock buns, I had to post this twist on it. Not only do I love that it’s a new look, I always seem to have a hard time getting the back of my hair perfect for a high bun, so this is a great way to solve that problem.

2. Tiny Braids Sock Bun

Again.. I’m loving the sock bun! Just throw in lots of little braids and sock bun it up! Such a fun variation on the classic bun!

3. 3 braid up-do

This is so pretty, and could it be any simpler? 3 little braids pinned up to make a gorgeous up-do!

4. Easy braided ponytail

Pony tails BORE me. I have never liked wearing my hair up, it always makes me feel a little frumpy. But this style with a loose braid to mix it up a little, is super cute. It ads enough interest to make your hair pretty and interesting without being over the top or complicated.

5. Braided headband

I usually wear my hair down and some days it just feels a little boring and I want SOMETHING to change it up just a little. This braided headband is an awesome way to let me wear my hair down and ad some interest without having to actually ad any accessories.

Hey! I love your blog, so informative for a fellow mom who doesn’t want to look or feel frumpy.

    Thanks 🙂
